Ophidiophobia Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – A Multitude of Venomous Snakes

Ophidiophobia Mod adds a wide variety of snakes to Minecraft, each with different behaviors, habitats, and danger levels. Many are venomous and aggressive, turning exploration of jungles, deserts, and swamps into a higher-risk experience.

Features:

• Adds multiple snake species with unique AI
• Snakes can live in different environments:

• Most snakes are hostile or defensive at close range
• Many apply poison or negative effects on hit

Snake Behavior Types

• Ambush hunters that hide and strike when players get close
• Tree snakes that drop from above
• Ground stalkers that chase targets
• Water specialists that are faster and stronger while swimming
• Neutral species that attack only when provoked

• Examples include:
  • Anaconda
  • Tiger Python
  • Titanoboa
• Slower on land but dangerous at close range
• Use wrapping attacks and regenerate after defeating targets

• Some snakes can drop useful materials
• Venom can be collected using a glass bottle
• Snake Eggs:
  • Rare drop from snakes
  • Can be placed to hatch after about 3 minutes
  • Hatched snakes do not despawn
• Includes a snake bestiary-style book:
  • Entries unlock when you approach a species within 12 blocks
