SCP-106 The Old Man Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Don't Fall Into His Dimension

SCP-106 The Old Man Mod adds a dangerous anomaly creature to Minecraft inspired by the SCP universe. SCP-106 can pass through blocks, appear beneath players, and pull victims into a special Pocket Dimension. Escaping requires careful observation and the correct path choice.

Features:

• New anomaly entity: SCP-106 (The Old Man)
• Can move through most solid blocks
• May appear directly under players after a breach
• Leaves temporary holes that act as Pocket Dimension entrances
• Leaves a corrosive sludge trail while moving

Attack & Pocket Dimension

• On contact, SCP-106 can pull players into its Pocket Dimension
• Pocket Dimension mechanics:
  • Maze with 8 possible paths
  • Only 1 path leads back to the overworld
  • Wrong paths are fatal
  • Correct exit floor texture looks different

Spawning Rules

• Only spawns after a containment breach
• Can then appear randomly near players
• Enable spawning with gamerule:
  • /gamerule doOldManSpawn true
• Creative item can force a breach

Weakness & Control

• Electric/Tesla-style blocks can temporarily neutralize it
• Special Containment Chamber structures can generate naturally
• You can also build your own permanent containment chamber

Player-Built Containment (Summary)

• Build a sealed 5×5×5 outer box using Magnetized Blocks
• Leave a 3×3×3 empty room inside
• Place a Femur Breaker inside and connect Redstone
• Add a villager inside before sealing
• Activate Redstone after SCP-106 has breached
• If built correctly, SCP-106 stays permanently contained
