Revervox Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Your Voice Becomes the Monster's Bait

Revervox Mod traps you in dark caves with blind monsters that hunt by sound. These creepy mobs listen to your real voice through the game’s voice chat to find you. The mod records your spoken words and repeats them in the dark to confuse your friends. You have to stay perfectly quiet while mining so you do not attract danger. It also brings new tools to help you survive, including a special sword that deals extra damage to these flying and walking threats.

New Mobs:

• The Revervox is a tall, dark monster with long arms that wanders through caves and villages to trick players.
• The winged bat mob is a pale monster that flies through dark, foggy caves listening for your sounds.

Special Items:

• The Voice Box is a dark grey item that looks like a backpack. You craft it using a jukebox and two monster ears to play a random voice clip from another player.
• The special sword is a new weapon that deals extra damage to these blind monsters. You make it in a smithing table using a diamond sword, a Voice Box, and a bat tooth.

Configuration:

• Change the spawn settings to make the monsters appear more or less often.
• Turn on Privacy Mode in the client settings to delete your voice clips when you leave the server.
• Turn on noise suppression in the voice chat settings so the mod only picks up real words instead of background noise.

How to Use:

1. Turn on noise suppression in your voice chat settings. This helps the mod record clear words instead of background noise.
2. Stay very quiet when you explore dark caves. The new blind mobs listen for your voice to hunt you down.
3. Hold and use the Revervox Voice Box item to play a random recorded voice from another player.
4. Turn on Privacy Mode in the mod settings if you want your voice clips deleted right after you leave the server.
