Texture Locale Redirector Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Multiple Language Texture Support

Texture Locale Redirector Mod is a Minecraft Java mod that extends the game’s resource loading mechanism to support multilingual textures in resource packs. The mod allows you to place textures in different languages ​​within the same resource pack, and Minecraft will automatically redirect to the texture appropriate for the language being used in the game. This solves the problem where textures containing text/symbols for one language might be annoying or inappropriate for players using another language.

Features:

• Allows resource packs containing textures to be categorized by language, for example, assets/<namespace>/textures/zh_cn/… for Simplified Chinese and assets/<namespace>/textures/ja_jp/… for Japanese. The mod will automatically display the correct texture for the language you selected in Minecraft.
• Extends the vanilla resource loading mechanism to redirect textures by language without duplicating entire resource packs for each language.
• Resolves the issue where textures with specific language text or symbols conflict with players using other languages.
• This mod does not affect gameplay or block/item loading in the game, it only changes how Minecraft selects appropriate textures based on the current language.
• Dedicated caching system minimizes disk I/O, resulting in virtually no performance impact.
• The cache is cleared when changing languages ​​or reloading resources, ensuring textures are updated immediately according to the new settings.
• When a resource pack does not contain a texture folder for a specific language, the mod will ignore it and use normal textures, avoiding unnecessary scanning and processing.
