Lupicus's Vending Machine Mod (1.21.10, 1.20.1) – New Trading System

Lupicus’s Vending Machine Mod adds a vending machine to Minecraft, like the ones you see in shopping malls. You put in money, and it gives you food, drinks, or other items it sells. Now, you can have the same kind of machine in Minecraft.

Features:

• Random vending machines spawn in villages and restock with 7 random items each morning.
• Fixed vending machines can be placed by map designers with up to 7 preset items.
• Supports Minecraft and modded items.
• Item rarity and cost system:
  • Common: 1 emerald each, max 8 per item.
  • Uncommon: 16 emeralds each, max 4 per item.
  • Rare: 32 emeralds each, max 2 per item.
  • Epic: 64 emeralds each, max 1 per item.
• Currency can be customized (emeralds, diamonds, eggs, or modded items).
• Minable with diamond pickaxe + silk touch if enabled.
• Allows creation of themed vending machines (food, potions, weapons, etc.) for maps.
• Works in superflat worlds to provide otherwise unavailable items.

How to Use:

• Random Vending Machines:
  • Appear naturally in villages.
  • Restock automatically each morning with 7 random items.
  • Purchase items using the configured currency.
• Fixed Vending Machines:
  • Configure a set of 7 items in the config.
  • Place the vending machine in your map.
  • Open the machine once to load and save the items.

Configs:

• Currency: Set default currency or use modded items.
• Item Cost & Limit: Adjust cost per rarity and max purchase per item.
• Item Rarity: Set custom rarity for items or mods for pricing:
  • 0 = Common
  • 1 = Uncommon
  • 2 = Rare
  • 3 = Epic
• Include/Exclude Mods: Choose which mod items can appear.
• Include/Exclude Groups: Control which creative tab groups items come from.
• FixedItems Config Example (1.17+):
  FixedItems = ["minecraft:iron_chest", "minecraft:iron_leggings", "minecraft:iron_sword", "minecraft:bow", "minecraft:air", "minecraft:air", "minecraft:air"]
• Custom Items: Can add NBT data, enchantments, or special counts/costs.
• Server Config: Located in serverconfig/vm-server.toml
• Common Config: Located in config/vm-common.toml, editable in-game with /config showfile vm COMMON
