Jack's Configured Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Server Control Tweaks

Jack’s Configured Mod adds a collection of server-side control tweaks that give admins finer, real-time control over gameplay rules, world access, player connections, and server limits. All settings can be changed in-game with the /config configured command, with values stored in a dedicated config file.

Features:

• Dynamic server control via in-game commands
• Enable or disable access to major dimensions:
  • Nether
  • End
• Control who can join the server, including a maintenance mode for non-ops
• Modify server settings on the fly:
  • View distance
  • Simulation distance
  • Max players
• Visual-only features such as fake hardcore hearts
• Gameplay rule toggles without editing server.properties

How to use:

• All settings are controlled using the command: /config configured <setting> <action> [value]
• Configuration changes are saved automatically to: /config/configured/config.json
• Example commands:
  • /config configured fakeHardcore set true
  • /config configured itemDespawnAge reset
  • /config configured playerConnections set ALLOW_ALL
  • /config configured disablePVP get

Configs:

• motd – Change the server MOTD without restarting.
• fakeHardcore – Displays hardcore-style hearts for all players (visual only).
• playerConnections
  • ALLOW_ALL – Vanilla behavior (default)
  • ALLOW_OPS – Only operators can join
  • ALLOW_ONLY_NON_BLOCKED – Uses a block list to restrict players
• disablePlayerConnectionsJoinMessage – Message shown to blocked players.
• disableEnd – Completely disables End portal usage.
• disableEndPortalFrameFilling – Prevents Eyes of Ender from activating portal frames.
• disableEyeOfEnderCasting – Prevents players from throwing Eyes of Ender.
• disableEndGateways – Disables teleportation through End Gateways.
• disableNether – Disables Nether portal functionality.
• disablePVP – Online alternative to the pvp option in server.properties.
• itemDespawnAge – Controls how long dropped items last. Default: 6000 ticks.
• simulationDistance – Adjusts server simulation distance dynamically.
• viewDistance – Adjusts server view distance dynamically.
• maxPlayers – Sets the actual maximum number of players.
• maxPlayersFakeListing – Sets displayed max players in /list and server listing without affecting real limits.
• spawnProtection – Sets the overworld spawn protection radius dynamically.
• forceEnableCommandBlock – Forces command blocks to be enabled, ignoring server.properties.
• disableMonsterSpawning – Disables hostile mob spawning similar to Peaceful mode.
