If you are someone who regularly engages in combat with your friends on your server, you might have faced situations where you are about to win, but your opponent just pulls out his trident, steps into a puddle of water and then simply takes off. The riptide enchantment allows players to launch themselves into the sky when it rains, or simply by being in contact with water. This gets especially annoying when a player who is close to being defeated escapes at the last moment. The goal of this mod is to prevent this from happening. As the name suggests, Deactivate Riptide Flight Mod completely disables the working of the riptide enchantment. Players can still obtain the enchantment book and apply riptide to their tridents, but the flying mechanics are disabled and therefore the enchantment will have no real effect.
