Companions Dogfolk Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Cute Little Helpers

Dogs are man’s best friend. But in Minecraft, there are no dogs. The alternative is to tame and pet wolves. But what if you actually wanted a dog pet in Minecraft? Companions Dogfolk Mod is here with the solution. This mod adds a new type of dog that spawns in plains biomes. They can be tamed/healed with meat, and their behavior can be switched by right-clicking on them with a bone. You can sneak and right click on them to make them hold an item. Simply right click on them to open their inventory.

Features:

• This mod adds cute little helpers into the game! They can help you carry your stuff and fight on your side.
• By default they spawn in plains biome. (You can change this and other spawn settings by editing the json files in the data -> biome tags and biome modifier folders)
• You can tame them with meat. If they are already tamed then you can heal them with meat.
• You can change its behavior by clicking on it with a bone item (in your the main hand) (follow you, walk randomly, sit down)
• You can equip an item into its main hand by sneaking + click on it with an item.
• Or take its item away from it by sneaking + click on it empty handed.
• If you want to open its inventory, you have to simple click on it empty handed while not sneaking.
