CreeperHost's Soul Shards Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Soul Stealer

CreeperHost’s Soul Shards Mod is a port of Soul Shards Respawn Mod, this is a simple mod that allows you to gather the souls of the creatures you slay into gem fragments. The mod is designed to be accessed shortly after entering the Nether, keeping progression balanced and rewarding.

Features:

Getting a Soul Shard:

• Build the required structure
• Right-click the center block with a Diamond
• You will receive an empty Soul Shard

Binding and collecting souls:

• The first mob you kill while holding a shard binds it to that mob type
• The shard must be in your hotbar or offhand
• After binding, it only collects souls from that specific mob
• You can right-click a matching Mob Spawner to consume it and instantly add 200 souls (configurable)

Increasing soul gain:

• Vile Sword: adds +1 soul per kill
• Soul Stealer enchantment:
  • Adds +1 soul per level
  • Maximum level: 5
• Maximum souls per kill: 7 (1 base + 1 Vile Sword + 5 Soul Stealer)

Using Soul Cages:

• Craft a Soul Cage to use stored souls
• Insert a bound Soul Shard into the cage
• The cage will spawn the bound mob automatically

How to use:

• By default, the mod is gated to be placed just after entering the Nether. To obtain a shard, create a structure and right-click the center with a diamond.
• The first kill you get with a Shard binds that shard to the killed entity. Shards must be on your hot bar or in your offhand. It will only receive souls from that entity from then on. To speed up the process, you can right-click a Mob Spawner that contains the bound entity to consume the spawner and increase the shard’s stored souls by 200 (configurable).
• To efficiently gain souls, you should look into getting the Vile Sword, which adds another soul per kill, or the Soul Stealer enchantment, which adds an additional soul per kill per level. The maximum amount of souls you can obtain per kill is 7 (1 base + 1 Vile Sword + 5 max level Soul Stealer).
• Once you begin progressing through the tiers, you should craft a Soul Cage. A Soul Cage will let you insert your Soul Shard and will begin spawning the bound entity indefinitely.
