The Occult Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Trade Curses for Powerful New Abilities

The Occult Mod adds dark magic, strange demons, and mysterious rituals to your world. You can explore tall, dark towers full of parkour challenges to find special loot. This loot includes Bewitchment Orbs that give your gear powerful new abilities, though some may also come with a curse. The mod also introduces a new danger when you try to sleep. If your bed is in the dark, a creepy mob called the Bedbug will appear and call all nearby monsters to your location.

• Adds large, dark towers to the world. You have to complete parkour challenges inside to get special loot.
• Lets you use Bewitchment Orbs to give magical powers to your items and tools.
• Items change their look after being bewitched.
• Fate Orbs grant a very strong ability, but also put a curse on you while you hold the item.
• Soul Orbs work differently; they give you a personal ability just for being in your inventory.
• You get many new spooky, occult-themed blocks for building.
• A new monster, the Bedbug, appears if you try to sleep in a bed that isn’t in a well-lit area.
• The Bedbug itself is not a threat, but it sends out vibrations that attract all nearby monsters to your location.
