Attract To Sound Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Make a Sound, Attract the Horde

Attract To Sound Mod changes how mobs behave by making them react to sounds. Instead of only spotting you with their eyes, mobs will now investigate noises like footsteps, explosions, and even talking in voice chat. This makes sneaking around much more important if you want to avoid a fight.

• Mobs now listen to sounds in the world and will go to investigate the source.
• They react to many noises, like footsteps, explosions, gunshots from other mods, and even voice chat.
• A new stealth system makes your actions matter. Mobs can detect you based on how you move, the light level, and the weather.
• You leave a scent trail as you move that mobs can track. Jumping into water will break the trail.
• Use the camouflage system to hide better. Match your armor to nearby blocks or apply materials like mud to blend in.
• Mobs work together in smart groups. They have leaders and scouts that search an area.
• If a mob finds you, it can call for backup and organize a raid.
• Different materials can muffle sound. Wool, water, and solid walls make it harder for sound to travel.
• A simple TOML file lets you change all the settings.
