Overhauled Overworld Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Atmospheric World

Overhauled Overworld Mod completely reworks all in-game biomes, making them more realistic and atmospheric while not drastically altering the overall look of the game. In familiar biomes, trees will grow in entirely new shapes and sizes, rivers have become deeper and wider, and they are now positioned more realistically, making them better suited for traveling the world. Lava lakes have been removed from all biomes except the Savanna Plateau, which now resembles a region of volcanic activity. You will encounter blocks unusual for natural generation, such as white concrete. Forests will have logs lying around-and sometimes even standing-that you can find along riverbanks and sandbars. Many trees have had their foliage colors changed, and the dense forest biome has become particularly dangerous. The trees there are enormous and eerie, with very dark areas beneath the foliage, harboring many monsters. Overall, the game’s world has undergone significant changes; however, unlike many similar mods, this one does not make the game world excessively realistic. Biomes are still relatively compact, but they look entirely different.
