Setting the hardness level to “Peaceful” will essentially prevent hostile mobs from spawning. Inexperienced players can make use of this setting for an easier survival experience. But setting the game difficulty to peaceful comes with a huge drawback. Certain items that can be obtained by killing hostile mobs will become unobtainable. For example, creepers are the main source of gunpowder. Beast Tamer Mod is here with an ideal solution. This mod essentially makes all hostile mobs passive. They will longer try to hurt you. You can kill them without any difficulty and collect their loot.
