In the vanilla game, you can smelt an iron or gold tool/armor when they reach low durability and obtain some nuggets. This allows you to make the most out of your low-durability gear. Diamond Recycling Mod, as the name suggests, further expands this recycling feature to diamond gear. With this mod installed, you can recycle diamond tools and armor pieces to retrieve some of the diamonds used in their crafting recipe. This is done using certain crafting recipes.
