In the vanilla game, you can use nametags to give custom names to different mobs. But you cannot do the same with players. In Minecraft, the names that show overhead players will always be their usernames and there is no easy way to customize that in-game. But not anymore! Player Names Mod is here to make it easy and convenient to give custom names to different players and mobs. This mod introduces the /name command into the using. Using this command, you can give custom names to any entity in the game, even players. This will especially be useful in role play scenarios with your friends.
