Adorable Hamster Pets Mod fills your world with cute, bouncy hamsters to tame as your new companions. These little friends can ride on your shoulders and help you find diamonds underground. They also have special cheek pouches that work like a small inventory for storing items. You can even launch your hamster at enemies as a furry projectile. With thousands of different colors to find, you can build a whole family of unique pets.

Features:

Adds thousands of different wild hamster variations to find across your world.
You can carry up to three hamsters at once on your shoulders and head.
Lets you launch a hamster from your shoulder as a furry projectile to attack mobs.
Tamed hamsters can sniff out hidden diamonds and lead you to them.
Hamsters have a 6-slot inventory in their cheek pouches, which get bigger when full.
These pets might steal valuable items dropped on the ground and run away with them.
Spiders and Ravagers are scared of hamsters and will run away on sight.
Your pets will help you in fights by attacking enemies with unique moves.
Craft a Hamster Bed so your pet can wander around a home area instead of following you.
Discover new crops like cucumbers and green beans to make special food.
Equip your hamsters with accessories like an Acorn Hat or Pink Petals.

Acorn Armor:

Iron Armor: Makes your hamster fly faster and farther when you throw it.
Gold Armor: Gives your hamster a permanent speed boost while it’s on the ground.
Diamond Armor: Stops the hamster from stealing items and makes it fetch them for you instead.
Netherite Armor: Gives knockback resistance and makes the hamster deal more damage on impact.

How to Use:

Taming a Hamster: First, find and harvest Wild Cucumbers. Craft them into Sliced Cucumber. Find a wild hamster, then sneak and right-click it with the Sliced Cucumber until it is tamed.
Basic Controls: Right-click your tamed hamster to make it sit or stand. To open its inventory, feed it Hamster Food Mix, then sneak and right-click it.
Shoulder Pets: Hold Cheese in your hand to make a hamster climb onto your shoulder. You can have up to three at once. To get them off, crouch or press ‘G’.
Hamster Launch: While a hamster is on your shoulder, press the ‘G’ key to launch it as a projectile. This can be used to attack mobs or interact with certain blocks.
Getting Acorns: Launch a hamster at an Oak Tree. The hamster will rustle the leaves and make Acorns fall down.
Wander Mode: Craft a Hamster Bed and link it to your pet. The hamster will stop following you and will wander around its bed instead.

Configuration:

This mod has many settings you can change. You can use the Mod Menu or edit the file at config/adorablehamsterpets/main.toml.

Total Control: You can change almost everything. If you are on a server, the server’s settings will be used automatically.
Custom Diet: Change what items are needed to tame a hamster or what food they eat.
Item Stealing: You can decide which valuable items hamsters will try to steal.
Physics: Adjust the speed, damage, and cooldown when you throw a hamster.
Food Value: You can even change how much hunger cheese restores for the player.
