Cyanide Mod is a mod that improves worldgen datapack errors by replacing confusing stack traces with detailed error messages. It pinpoints the exact file, datapack, and location of the error, allowing datapack creators to quickly fix common issues like negative values, invalid JSON, feature cycles, or missing files.
![]()
Features:
- Show the file name + datapack that caused the error, with the exact location (row, column).
- Value error: specify the wrong value and the requirement (e.g. “Value provider too low (must be >= 0), got -1”).
- Missing file error: list all files that reference the missing feature.
- JSON error: quote the code around the syntax error.
- Feature cycle error: draw detailed loops between biomes and features.
