Origins Randomiser Mod is a very simple addon for the Origins mod that automatically changes the origin to a random one after each player death. Additionally, you can use the /randomise command to change it if necessary.

Features:

Highly configurable mod that assigns you a random origin every time you die.
Automatically assigns you a random origin the first time you join a world.

Commands:

Operator Commands

/change
- lives [target] [number]: Change the number of lives a player has by a given amount.
- uses [target] [number]: Change the number of /randomise uses a player has by a given amount.
/set
- lives [target] [number]: Update the number of lives a player has to a given value.
- uses [target] [number]: Update the number of /randomise uses a player has to a given value.
/toggleRandomiser: Toggle origin randomisation in-game without, for example, having to restart a server.

Global Commands:

/randomise: Allows a player to randomise their origin without having to die/sleep.

Config:

General

randomiseOrigins: Master toggle for origin randomisation
randomiseOnFirstJoin: Toggle assigning a random origin on a player’s first join
randomiserMessages: Toggle global messages about a player’s new origin
randomiseAllLayers: Toggle randomisation of all layers

Command

randomiseCommand: Toggle availability of the /randomise command
limitCommandUses: Toggle whether the use of /randomise is limited to a set number of times
randomiseCommandUses: Set the number of times /randomise can be used

Lives

enableLives: Toggle if players have a set number of lives before they are put in spectator mode
startingLives: Set the number of lives players start with
livesBetweenRandomises: Set the number of lives between origin randomisation

Other

deathRandomisesOrigin: Toggle whether dying randomises origin
sleepRandomisesOrigin: Toggle whether sleeping randomises origin
sleepsBetweenRandomises: Set the number of sleeps between origin randomisation
showOriginScreenOnDeath: Toggle showing the origin selection screen after death (only works if randomiseOrigins is disabled)
resetToHumanOrigin: Set a player’s origins:origin to origins:human instead of a random one whenever randomization occurs (leaves other layers untouched)
