Boss Ultimatum Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Make Boss Fights Count

Boss Ultimatum Mod stops you from easily beating bosses by dying and respawning over and over. Normally, you can just keep running back to a fight to slowly wear down a boss. This mod changes that by punishing you for dying. When you die, the boss can heal a bit of its health or even disappear completely, forcing you to start the fight from the beginning. All these penalties can be changed in the mod’s settings.

Features:

• Makes boss fights more challenging by penalizing player deaths.
• Heals the boss by a percentage of its maximum health when a player dies.
• Restores a flat amount of health to the boss.
• Makes the boss disappear, forcing players to re-summon it and start over.
• Sets different rules for each game difficulty, like making it active only on Hard mode.
• Chooses a minimum number of deaths before a penalty applies (Fabric only).
• Heals the boss for a small amount on the first few deaths, and a larger amount later.
