It adds a special “Item Filter” item that gives you advanced ways to select and match items. This makes it easier to set up specific quests or automation systems.
Features:
- Adds the “Item Filter,” an item used to create detailed filtering rules.
- Includes logical filters like NOT (inverts), OR (matches any), AND (matches all), and XOR (matches one but not both).
- Lets you filter items by which mod they come from.
- Allows you to select all items from a specific Creative Tab.
- Provides a filter for items with a certain Ore Dictionary name, like “ingotCopper”.
- Includes an API that allows other mods to add their own custom filters.
How to Use:
- Get an Item Filter. You can sneak-right-click an existing one to change its type.
- Right-click the filter in your hand to open its settings and edit it.
- In a mod like FTB Quests, select your configured filter from your inventory when creating an item task.
- The task’s icon will automatically become a scrolling list of all items that match your filter.
