Overworld Quartz Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Skip the Nether for Your First Quartz

Overworld Quartz Mod adds quartz ore to the Overworld, so you don’t need to travel to the Nether to find it. This new ore spawns about as often as iron ore and requires at least a Stone Pickaxe to mine. When you break the ore, it drops one piece of nether quartz. If you use a pickaxe with Silk Touch, you can collect the ore block and smelt it later.

Features:

• Makes quartz ore generate in the Overworld.
• The ore is about as common as iron ore.
• You need a Stone Pickaxe or better to mine the ore.
• Each ore block drops one nether quartz when broken.
• Lets you collect the ore block itself if you use a Silk Touch pickaxe.
• Ore generation can be changed through datapacks or config files.
