Arrows in Minecraft are pretty complicated. While most games are designed to make a projectile hit wherever the player’s crosshair is pointing, Minecraft makes it a lot more realistic by adding a downward fall to the projectile after they are shot. The reason for this is the projectile’s velocity lowering, along with gravity. And this downward fall makes it difficult to connect shots that are long-range. Trajectory Preview Mod will save you a ton of arrows by introducing a hologram that shows you the path which a projectile is going to travel after it’s been shot.
