Ever wanted longer days or nights in Minecraft to have more time to explore or build? Maybe you even want the day lengths to vary depending on the season? Accurate Daynight Cycles Mod is a mod that lets you change the speed of the time in Minecraft, without the undesirable slow-motion effects on mobs, actions and plant growth that other such mods do. By default it takes 20 minutes for a full day/night cycle. You can slow down the day/night cycles up to 72 times to make Minecraft days last 24 earth hours, or you can increase the speed by up to 20 times, which would make a day last only 1 earth minute. Recommended values are between 3-12 (for 1-4 hours per day). There’s also settings for displaying the current ingame time and day.
