Apocalypse Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Making Monsters More Powerful

Apocalypse Mod is a mod that focuses on making survival in Minecraft much more challenging. The idea behind this mod is that the passage of time increases the difficulty, making it harder to stay alive as time goes on.
The higher the game’s difficulty, the better the attack stats and defense systems that hostile mobs will have. Additionally, every eight days there will be a full moon, during which all kinds of hostile mobs will spawn with the sole purpose of ending our life. We won’t be able to sleep during the full moon. As if that weren’t enough, rainy days will also bring problems. With this mod installed, rain will cause us damage, so it’s better to have something to protect our head. When starting a game, as we create a new world, we can choose the difficulty level of the game.

The longer you stay in the world, the more powerful the monsters get. The rain hurts you, thunderstorms causes strange things to happen, and full moon nights empowers monsters and summons deadly foes that will do anything in their power to hunt you down. Good luck!

Features:

• Mobs spawn with better stats, equipment and potion buffs the higher the nearest player’s difficulty is
• You can configure when a certain type of mob can start spawning (how high the nearest player’s difficulty must be for it to spawn)
• Ancient mobs will spawn rarely (named and incredibly tough mobs that drop powerfully enchanted items) (Not implemented yet)
• You can not sleep during the full moon and monsters are even stronger during this time (every 8 days)
• Full moons summon unique monsters that can break through your defenses to kill you
• Sleeping causes difficulty to jump twice as far as staying up through the night
• Occasionally, it may start raining acid. This hurts, so it will be necessary to wear something on your head
• Staying in the dark for too long is not good
• Thunderstorms makes mobs spawn in strange places
• A lunar clock that shows the current moon phase
• Dynamic Trap, a defense contraption to help you survive the hordes
