Deeper Caves Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Build and Fight with New Cave Resources

Deeper Caves Mod expands Minecraft’s cave system by building on the Caves & Cliffs update. This mod adds more content to explore in Dripstone Caves and Lush Caves. It also introduces new uses for items like copper, amethyst, and glow squid ink sacs. You can craft new armor and tools from a new metal alloy, and build with many new types of blocks and stones.

Features:

New Items and Blocks

• Adds new copper items, including lanterns, lamps, doors, trapdoors, buttons, and pressure plates.
• Introduces several items made from glow squid materials, like glittering dust, glass, lamps, and chalk.
• Gives amethyst more building options with new trims and tiles.
• Expands the builder’s palette with new brick types for andesite, diorite, granite, calcite, tuff, and dripstone.
• Populates the underground with new stone types, including Chert, Slate, Mudstone, and Chalkstone.

Lush Cave Expansion

• Find mossy versions of Stone, Deepslate, and Cobbled Deepslate.
• Discover new plants like the Mossy Bush and Azalea Flower.
• Grow Lush Fruit, a new food source that can only be planted on moss blocks. It also has a golden version.

Rose Gold Gear

• Create Rose Gold, a new metal alloy made by combining gold and copper.
• This new material is stronger than iron but not as strong as diamond.
• Craft a full set of Rose Gold armor and tools.
• Make a Rose Gold Apple that gives you Haste, Absorption, and Speed effects.

Tools and Traps

• Craft an Amethyst Chisel. Right-clicking a stone block with it turns the block into its polished or cut version.
• Use Dripstone Spikes as a redstone trap that damages any mob that steps on it.
• Find new types of mushrooms growing in the caves, like Glow Lichen Fungus and Glittering Fungus.

How to Use:

1. To create Rose Gold, combine Gold Ore and Copper Ore in a Smithing Table.
2. To use the Amethyst Chisel, hold it and right-click on a stone block to change it into a polished or cut variant.
3. To grow Lush Fruit, you must place its seed on a moss block.
4. Chalk can be crafted from Chalkstone and placed on the ground. It disappears when a mob steps on it.
5. Mix Chalk with Glittering Dust to make Glittering Chalk, which glows like a torch when placed.
