Thalassophobia Mod fills the oceans with terrifying creatures, making every swim a dangerous adventure. You will encounter the huge Colossoteus, also called the Bloop, and many other scary monsters. This mod turns the deep sea into a frightening place where one wrong move could be your last.
Features:
Terrifying Leviathans
- Adult Colossoteus: A massive monster found in all oceans. It can destroy blocks, roars loudly, and uses a powerful sonar attack.
- Alpha Reaverfish: An even bigger, red version of the Reaverfish. This creature is extremely dangerous, can break blocks, and has a terrifying roar.
- Megalodon: A huge ancient shark that is always aggressive towards players. Its attacks deal massive damage to a small area.
- Mosasaur: A giant marine reptile from ancient times. It is very tough, aggressive, and one of the strongest creatures in the ocean.
New Ocean Life
- Discover dozens of new sea creatures, from peaceful Glow Fish to aggressive Megapiranhas.
- Find passive mobs like the Sea Sludge, which drops slime balls when fed seagrass.
- Watch out for neutral creatures like Crabs and Sea Birds that will attack if you provoke them.
- Ancient creatures like the eel-like Panderodus and the sea scorpion Eurypterid now swim in the waters.
- Aggressive predators like the Anglerfish and Gulper Eel hunt in the deep, dark parts of the ocean.
- Many creatures can be picked up with a bucket, allowing you to move them.
Commands:
You can disable the Alpha Reaverfish from spawning with a gamerule.
/gamerule enableAlphaReaverfishSpawning false
How to Use:
- Use the Echoshell and Leviathan Sensor while underwater to detect nearby mobs. The Leviathan Sensor has a longer range and only finds large creatures.
- Equip the Deep Sea Amulet to get the Conduit Power effect when you are deep underwater, below Y-Level 40.
- Place a Sonar Beacon with water above it and activate it with a redstone signal to kill nearby water mobs.
- To fill out the Bestiary, get within a 12-block radius of a sea creature to unlock its description.
