Excavated Variants Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Automatically Generated Stone

Excavated Variants Mod is a mod that generates the same minerals as always, but in new stone type variants. This means we can find mineral resources in more places than the default settings. Take a look at the images to see some examples of this. Therefore, this mod automatically adds new minerals for each combination of mineral type and stone type. But that’s not all-it also manages the generation of these mineral resource variants in Minecraft’s terrain generation.

Features:

• This mod automatically generates new ore variants based on combinations of ores and stones available in the game. For example, iron ore can appear in granite, deepslate, or stone types from other mods.
• The mod sets up a world generation system for these new ore variants, ensuring they spawn naturally in the game world, similar to Minecraft’s default ores.
• Custom Configuration:
  • The mod allows players to customize ore variants through a configuration file (excavated_variants.json).
  • Enable/disable ore replacement in world generation (attempt_worldgen_replacement).
  • Add crafting recipes to convert ore variants back to their base ores (add_conversion_recipes).
  • Players can add or remove ore variants, customize block properties, or add tags to the variants.
