SkyClient Updater Mod (1.8.9) – Updates Installed Mods Directly In-game

SkyClient Updater Mod helps keep other mods up to date right inside the game. By using a data repository, it checks for updates and applies them without needing to leave the Minecraft screen. Most of the mod’s code is built from the original work on Skytils by lily, and it also uses open-source code from Wynntils and ChatShortcuts to make everything run well together.
