In the Minecraft 1.13 Aquatic Update, Mojang completely overhauled the underwater aspect of the game. Along with the many new features, ocean ruins were also introduced. These are broken down structures that have the chance of being generated with a treasure chest in them. This chest may even contain a treasure that might lead the player to another treasure hidden at a different location.
