Desolation Mod adds a charred and rather creepy forest to Minecraft. It’s a rare biome where everything is literally gray and black, giving the impression that a black-and-white filter has been applied to the game (though it hasn’t). The mobs are also in shades of gray and black, but most have bright orange spots that make them stand out noticeably.
