Butcher’s Delight Mod is a mod that aims to add a touch of realism to the hunting process and the acquisition of meat and animal hides. Simply slashing an animal with a sword will no longer be enough to obtain its meat and hide. Let’s see how it works. With this mod installed, each animal must go through three steps to provide meat and hide.

Features:

• Hang animal carcasses on hooks for efficient butchering. Requires 10 cleaver clicks to process.
• Place carcasses on a campfire roaster to cook them fully. Works with cows, sheep, goats, and pigs, chickens and rabbits.
• Allows players to process carcasses on any solid surface using a cleaver or knife.
• Use shears to pluck chickens for extra feathers or shear Striders for strings.
• Skins and fur can be refined using racks and shears for additional items.

How to use:

These steps apply to cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, and rabbits.

• Step 1: Hang the carcass on a hook-this is the most efficient method to maximize the amount of meat obtained.
• Step 2: Place the animal’s body on a roasting spit.
• Step 3: Use a knife to cut the animal into smaller pieces.

Finally, you can maximize the number of byproducts, such as skins or fur, by processing them with shears at a leather tanning station.
