Simple Sponge Mod brings the useful liquid-absorbing sponges from OpenBlocks into your game, and adds even more new types. This mod started as a port but now includes many unique sponges and tools for managing water and lava. You can even use it together with the original OpenBlocks mod without any problems.

Features:

Adds three different sponge blocks: Regular, Magmatic, and Creative.
Includes seven types of “Sponge on a Stick” tools for more precise liquid removal.
The Regular Sponge breaks when it absorbs hot fluids like lava.
Magmatic, Creative, and Energized sponges can safely soak up hot liquids without being destroyed.
Works with the OpenBlocks mod, automatically disabling its own sponges to prevent recipe conflicts if both are installed.

Configuration:

You can change the absorption radius for all sponges, up to a maximum of 64 blocks.
The energy capacity and usage for the Energized Sponge on a Stick can be adjusted in the config file.
Integration with the OpenBlocks mod can be enabled or disabled.
