Ultra Hard Mode Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) – Increases Permanent Difficulty

As you progress through your Minecraft survival world, you obtain stronger and powerful gear. And this makes fighting off the vanilla hostile mobs feel like a breeze. Once you reach a particular point of progression, the game just becomes a lot easier and you will have nothing else to do other than to just build and collect items. If the vanilla game feels too easy for you, make it more difficult using Ultra Hard Mode Mod. This mod takes your game difficulty up through the roof by changing how certain things in the game work. A list of changes are listed below.

Features:

• Monsters deal more damage (a lot).
• Monsters have more defense (a lot).
• Monsters become faster when they target an entity to attack.
• There’s a twenty percent chance that when a creeper spawns it is charged.
• Monsters stop burning in lava if they survive in it for 2 seconds.
• When players block attacks with shields they still take half a heart of damage.
• If a player is killed by a boss (Wither, Warden, Enderdragon) The boss will restore its entire health.
• Golden Apple nerfed.
• Enchanted Golden Apple nerfed.
• Totem of Undying nerfed.
• Players are slower than usual.
• If a player gets the effect hunger they get the poison too.
• When a player has 1 hp (half a heart) they get the effect blindness.
• When players respawn they only have 9 hp (4.5 hearts).
• Players catch fire for 5 seconds when they enter the Nether.
• You can’t play in peaceful, easy or normal mode, it automatically sets it back to hard mode every time it is changed.
