It will supply Minecrafters with a higher resolution and but will not change the great base textures anymore. All it does is adding normal, specular and parallax occlusion maps to be used with shaders. In general, it is highly recommended for those who are a fan of original vanilla default but wish to have a small enhancement to their game experience.
