## **What is it?**
**EssentialsX Dashboard** is a sleek, modern web panel that lets you manage your **EssentialsX** server from your browser — economy, players (online *and* offline), inventories, kits, warps, bans, a live console, EssentialsX modules and more. No in-game commands required.
It ships as a **single Paper/Spigot plugin** (EssDashboard.jar) with an **embedded web server**. Drop in the jar, open a port, and log in. There's no separate app to host and no database to set up.

## **Features**
* **Players (online & offline)** — search every player your server has ever seen; edit balance, nickname, homes, mail, mutes and bans even while they're **offline**. Heal / feed / fly / god / give / teleport / gamemode for online players.
* **Inventory & Ender Chest editor** — view and edit items with full detail: enchantments, lore, durability and custom names, across the main inventory, hotbar, armor, off-hand and ender chest.
* **Economy** — paginated baltop, total/average wealth, supply trends, a transaction ledger, bulk give/take, and one-click debt cleanup.
* **Moderation** — bans, mutes and warnings with **auto-escalation**, reusable punishment templates, and live chat moderation with searchable history.
* **Live Console** — real-time server output + chat, run commands straight from the browser (with a blocked-command safety list).
* **Server Controls** — whitelist, world time/weather, save/stop, spawn and jails.
* **EssentialsX Modules** — auto-detects your add-ons; edit Chat formats, Protect settings and the Discord config (bot token masked), and show player GeoIP location.
* **Scheduler** — timed broadcasts, commands, mail-all and restarts, one-off or recurring, with countdown warnings.
* **Analytics** — historical online/TPS/memory/economy charts, a login-activity heatmap, and a player geography breakdown.
* **Security** — staff accounts with granular per-feature permissions, a full audit log, JWT auth, **2FA/TOTP** with recovery codes, session management, and login rate-limiting.
* **White-label branding** — set your own panel name, accent color and logo; dark & light themes.
## **Requirements**
* **Server:** Paper or Spigot **1.17+** (the embedded web server needs Java 17)
* **Java:** **17+**
* **EssentialsX** **2.19+** recommended — required dependency
* **Optional:** Vault, EssentialsXSpawn, EssentialsXChat, EssentialsXProtect, EssentialsXGeoIP, EssentialsXDiscord (auto-detected for extra features)
## **Quick start**
* Make sure **EssentialsX** is installed, then drop EssDashboard.jar into your plugins folder and start the server.
* Open **[http://your-server-ip:8095](http://your-server-ip:8095)** and log in with the bootstrapped admin account (**admin** / **changeme**).

##### Full walkthrough, configuration reference, reverse-proxy/HTTPS setup and troubleshooting are in the [Wiki](https://github.com/drawethree/essentialsx--web-dashboard/wiki).
## **Security-first**
* Passwords are **bcrypt-hashed**; sessions use signed, revocable **JWTs**. Login and the 2FA step are rate-limited.
* Ships secure response headers (CSP, HSTS, nosniff, X-Frame-Options, Referrer-Policy).
* The panel speaks plain HTTP and is designed to run behind a reverse proxy that terminates TLS — see the [Reverse Proxy & HTTPS](https://github.com/drawethree/essentialsx--web-dashboard/wiki/reverse-proxy-and-https) guide (nginx / Caddy / Apache configs included).
