Installation
- Place the mod JAR file into the
modsfolder of your Fabric server. Fabric API is required as a dependency. This mod is server-only; clients do not need to install it. - Start the server, and the config file
welcome-mod.jsonwill be automatically generated inside theconfigfolder.
Configuration
Shut down the server and open the config file to edit the welcomeMessage field:
- Use
&for color codes (e.g.&afor green), which will be automatically converted to Minecraft native§color codes. %player%is the placeholder for the joining player's username.- Use
\nto create line breaks for multi-line welcome text.
Apply Settings
- Save the file and restart the server to apply changes instantly. Alternatively, you can type
welcome reloadin the console to hot-reload the configuration without restarting the server.
