Swirling Smoke

Swirling Smoke makes smoke particles react naturally to dynamic wind, weather, surrounding terrain, and local airflow. Smoke rises vertically near its source before gradually drifting with the wind, while caves, trees, walls, and other obstacles reduce or block outdoor airflow.

The mod includes multiple wind conditions, ranging from calm air and gentle breezes to strong winds and sudden gusts. Rain and thunderstorms also affect wind behavior, while caves remain mostly still with occasional subtle underground drafts.

Commands

Swirling Smoke provides client-side commands for testing and inspecting the wind system.

Displays the current wind type, direction, strength, mode, and remaining duration.

Forces calm, windless conditions.

• /swirlingsmoke wind set calm

Forces a gentle breeze.

• /swirlingsmoke wind set normal

Forces normal wind.

• /swirlingsmoke wind set strong

Forces strong wind.

Forces a powerful gust.

Forces a wind type and direction. Direction uses degrees: 0 east, 90 south, 180 west, and 270 north.
