Announcementify
Multi-channel announcements with a full in-game GUI editor
Overview
Multi-channel announcements with a full in-game GUI editor
Announcementify sends automatic announcements through four channels — chat, action bar, boss bar and title — each with its own file, its own interval and an independent scheduler. Everything is configured from an in-game GUI, and every piece of text is editable through messages.yml.
Features
4 independent channels — chat, action bar, boss bar, title; each with its own interval and message pool
In-game GUI editor — add, edit and delete announcements, change every setting live; no reload needed
Sequential or random rotation per channel
MiniMessage support — gradients, hover, click, colors
PlaceholderAPI support (optional soft-depend)
Per-announcement sound — key / volume / pitch
Permission filter — restrict an announcement to a permission
Per-world filter — show announcements only in certain worlds
Centered text — chat channel
Boss bar options — color, overlay, on-screen time, animated countdown
Title timings — fade in / stay / fade out
Per-player toggle — players can turn announcements off for themselves
Fully editable text — all GUI labels, prompts and messages live in messages.yml
Lightweight — ~84 KB, no SQLite, no heavy dependencies
In-game GUI
Configure everything without touching files. The main menu shows all four channels with their status, interval, mode and count. The channel menu handles enable/disable, interval, mode, prefix, title timings and the full announcement pool. The announcement menu edits text (multi-line), sound, permission, worlds, centered, boss bar options, preview and delete. Every change is saved to disk instantly and the channel's scheduler restarts automatically.
Commands
/anc gui — open the editor menu
/anc reload — reload all configs and messages
/anc toggle — toggle automatic announcements for yourself
/anc chat|actionbar|bossbar|title <message> — send an instant announcement
Aliases: /announce, /announcementify, /bc
Permissions
announcementify.admin — GUI, reload, manual announcements (default: op)
announcementify.toggle — players can toggle their own announcements (default: true)
announcementify.bypass — keep receiving announcements even when toggled off (default: false)
Requirements
Paper 26.1.2 / 26.2 or compatible forks
Java 25
PlaceholderAPI — optional, only needed for %placeholders%
Notes
Announcements are opt-out: everyone receives them by default, and only players who turn them off are stored. All automatic loops run on Paper's region scheduler and are safe at high player counts.
