★ Overview

ScoreCosmetics Free gives your players 7 high-quality 3D cosmetic hats from the Hoplite Civilization resource pack, rendered client-side via CustomModelData — no extra rendering plugin, no client mod required. Every hat is visible to nearby players through Minecraft's standard armor rendering, exactly like a real helmet.

Access to each hat is controlled by a LuckPerms-compatible permission node, so you decide who gets what — hand them out as rewards, rank perks, or purchase bonuses through any permission plugin you already use.

• Mandatory RP enforcement — players who decline the resource pack are automatically kicked before they can join
• Hat locks to the player — cannot be removed by clicking, shift-clicking, dragging, dropping (Q), or death. Survives respawn. Only removable via the /cosmetics Remove Hat button
• Per-session persistence — equipped hat is saved to disk and automatically restored when the player rejoins and the RP finishes loading

★ Setup

1. Drop HopliteCosmeticsLite.jar into your plugins/ folder
2. Upload ScoreCosmetics_Lite_RP.zip to any public hosting (GitHub Releases, your web server, etc.)
3. Open plugins/HopliteCosmeticsLite/config.yml and set resource-pack.url to your direct download link
4. Restart the server — the SHA-1 hash is pre-filled, no manual calculation needed
5. Grant hat permissions to players/groups via LuckPerms and you're done

Requires an outward-facing HTTPS URL for the resource pack (standard Minecraft protocol requirement — not specific to this plugin). GitHub Releases is free and works perfectly.
