Untamed Wilds Mod is a mod designed to encourage world exploration through two major features: new terrain generation and the addition of many real-world-inspired animals. With this mod installed, a variety of animal species will spawn naturally, dynamically assigned to different biomes. Players can carry smaller animals by hand and use cages for larger creatures to transport them.

Currently, the mod focuses on sixteen animal species, including:
- Aardvark, Hippopotamus, Bear, Rhinoceros, Big Cat
- Jack Mackerel, Giant Clam, Sunfish, Pufferfish, Arowana
- Shark, Tarantula, Snake, Turtles, Softshell Turtles, Giant Salamanders
