As its name suggests, Vanilla Tweaks Mod aims to improve Minecraft by making life easier for players without altering the game’s core essence. This mod by StrikerRocker is designed to be unobtrusive, non-invasive, and fully configurable. If you don’t like a feature, you can disable it while keeping others that interest you. Expect minor but helpful additions to various aspects of the game, rather than major gameplay mechanics.

Features:

Changes to Minecraft Vanilla

Seating: Right-clicking on slabs and stairs allows your character to sit.
Nether Safety: The Nether is safer with no lava pockets.
New Advancements: Linked to Vanilla Tweaks.
Editable Signs: Right-clicking on placed signs allows editing.
Shift-Right-Click on Signs: Clears the content.
Realistic Predator Attacks: Ocelots and wolves leave no meat when killing prey.
Nether Portal Improvements: Enhanced Nether portals.
Mob Spawners: Can be retrieved with Silk Touch enchantment.
Command Blocks in Creative: Found under the Redstone tab; Ender dragon eggs in the Decorations tab.
Named Buttons: Buttons are named based on the material used (e.g., stone or wood).
Expanded Roman Numerals: Potion and enchantment levels available up to 255.
Wool Crafting: Wool can give 4 strings and can be crafted with 4 strings.
Sponges in the Nether: Sponges now absorb in the Nether.
Hoe Functionality: Acts like a sickle.
Crafting Improvements: Enhanced crafting for stairs, stone tools/weapons, and chests.
Armor Stand Swap: Right-clicking on an armor stand swaps armor.
Self-Planting Seeds: Seeds auto-plant after a random delay; easier farm automation.
Potion Effect Stability: Interfaces unaffected by potion effects.
Burning Baby Zombies and Creepers: Burn in daylight.

New Items and Blocks

Dynamite: Throwable TNT.
Fried Egg: Crafted by cooking an egg; restores 2.5 hunger points.
Lens: Crafting component for binoculars.
Binoculars: Non-overpowered zoom feature with configurable zoom level.
Slime Detector: In-game method to locate slimes.
Craftable Blocks: Create blocks for flint, sugar, and charcoal.
Ported Bark Blocks: Minecraft 1.13 bark blocks available in earlier versions.
Treasure Pedestal: Display your treasures.
Portable Crafting Table: Right-click in hand to open the crafting interface.

Mob Loot

Named Mobs: Custom-named mobs drop a nametag upon death.
Bat Leather: Bats drop leather.
Endermen Block Drop: Endermen drop held block upon death.
Creeper TNT Drop: 1 in 10 creepers drop a TNT block.

New Enchantments

Nimble and Hops: Boot enchantments up to level 3, increasing running speed and jump height with each level.
Vigor: Chestplate enchantment providing health increase per level, up to 3.
Veteran: Helmet enchantment boosting experience collection in a 32-block radius.
Siphon: Mined blocks go directly into the inventory; compatible with Silk Touch.
Blazing: Automatically cooks mined blocks; increases yield with Fortune enchantment, incompatible with Silk Touch. Available at level 1 only.
Homing: Arrows target directly; level 1 for mobs at 32 blocks, level 2 for mobs at 64 blocks, and level 3 for mobs at 128 blocks.
