Chimes Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Decorative, Light, Sound

Chimes Mod is a mod that adds wind chimes, which produce ambient sounds when hung from blocks and can be interacted with by players. These chimes move with the wind and repel phantoms, preventing them from approaching nearby players. Currently, there are six types of chimes: bamboo, iron, copper, amethyst, and glass. Each emits unique sounds and can be crafted using specific recipes. For example, the bamboo chime is made with a wooden slab, a string, and a piece of bamboo, while the iron chime requires a wooden slab, a chain, and an iron ingot. Beyond their decorative and auditory function, these chimes repel phantoms within a 25-block radius. Some chimes can be silenced by tying or untying them via right-clicking with an empty hand while crouching. Their volume can be adjusted in the ambient sound settings of the game.
