Bygone Nether Mod is a mod focused on enhancing the gameplay of the Nether dimension. To achieve this, the mod aims to improve the lore of this dimension and increase the challenges for players who wish to explore it. With this mod installed, as soon as you enter the Nether dimension, you will notice new structures generated in each of the Nether biomes. These new structures will be inhabited by new creatures. Similarly, as the mod adds new structures to the world, it will also modify the existing ones. For example, Nether Fortresses will be redesigned, while Bastion Remnants and Basalt Deltas will be relocated to new places within the Nether.

Features:

Catacombs: Found in the Nether Wastes biome, these structures resemble the Wither and are filled with hostile Wither Skeletons. Hidden chests with loot can be discovered inside.
Citadel: Located in the Warped Forest biome, this tower-like structure is surrounded by Warped Endermen, a new mob that attacks instantly. Loot includes enchanted diamond equipment and ingots.
Fortress: A redesigned version of the Nether Fortress, larger and more exposed, found in the Basalt Deltas biome. It hosts Piglins, Blaze, and Magma Slimes.
Piglin Manor: Situated in the Crimson Forest biome, this structure is inhabited by hostile Piglins and new mobs like Piglin Hunters. It can serve as a base if cleared.
Gilded Netherite Armor: Crafted using Netherite equipment and Gold Ingots at a Smithing Table. Wearing this armor prevents hostility from nearby Piglins.
