Ranged Pumps Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Power Your Base with Lava

Ranged Pumps Mod adds a special pump to collect large amounts of liquids from a wide area. It can gather water, lava, or even fluids from other mods. The pump uses Forge Energy to run, but you can change this in the settings. It also stops working if it receives a Redstone signal. The machine has an internal tank that holds 32 buckets and will replace any liquid it removes with a stone block.

Features:

• Adds a pump to collect liquids over a large distance.
• Works with water, lava, and liquids added by other mods.
• Uses Forge Energy by default, but can be configured to use no power.
• Stops operating when it receives a Redstone signal.
• Has an internal tank that can hold 32 buckets of fluid.
• Replaces removed liquid blocks with stone to prevent holes in the terrain.
• Automatically pushes its contents into adjacent tanks or pipes.

How to Use:

1. Place the pump block down. It will start working as long as it does not have a Redstone signal.
2. Give the pump a Redstone signal to make it stop.
3. Right-click the pump to see its current status, like whether it’s running or full.
4. The pump searches for liquids one block below it and down to bedrock. It covers a range of 64 blocks in every direction.
5. Liquids are automatically pushed into any neighboring tanks, or you can use pipes to move them.
6. You can change settings like energy use, tank size, and whether it replaces liquids with stone in the config file.

Crafting Recipes:

• The mod doesn’t chunkload pumps.
• The recommendation is that you use a Chunkloading Ward from Extra Utilities with a few lava generators on top of the pump.
• You have to place the lava generators higher than the pump so the pump won’t suck up the lava that is used for power generation.
