Better Hurt Timer Mod (1.20.4, 1.20.1) – Tweaks The Combat Mechanics

Better Hurt Timer Mod will change the PVP and PVE aspects of the game by balancing and improving the attack process, making it more realistic and customizable. This will be particularly noticeable in multiplayer games.

Features:

• The mod adds a damage indicator, a small red number you can see when attacking.
• “Spam” (many quick hits) hand punches will not deal more damage than spam sword strikes.
• If a mob takes fire damage, it will be summed with other damage taken at that moment, for example, damage from lava. Besides the 4 damage from lava, you will receive +1 from burning.
• Arrow damage is summed. If a mob is hit by several arrows at once, it receives all the damage, not just from the first arrow. This way, you can take a huge amount of damage in 0.5 seconds.
• Mobs do not get the knockback effect, for example, from explosive potions. You can also add other types of attacks to remove the inappropriate knockback effect.
• Visual effects do not overlap. If you are burning and receive some potion effect (e.g., weakness), you will not see the “smoke effects.” They will be visible after the previous effect (burning) disappears.
