Most Minecraft servers are hosted by external companies and in these cases, the server will stay active 24/7. Even when zero players are online, in-game processes, like the day-night cycle, continue to perform. Tick Stasis Mod is here to stop that from happening. This mod essentially freezes the world activities when a server has zero players online. No updates will occur in the game world, including block updates, entity movement, and random ticks. And the in-game time will be paused until a player enters.
