Bovines and Buttercups Mod adds one of the losing mob vote mobs from 2020, the Moobloom. The mod implements 9 types of Mooblooms by default, with two of these naturally spawning in Flower Forests and a majority of the others being found through breeding your flowery bovines. The mooblooms have two new items associated with them, the Bowl of Nectar and the flower on their back. They are also able to provide nectar for bees.
Features:
Moobloom:
- Mooblooms are flowery bovines found within the Flower Forests, although you’ll only find two naturally spawning types there and a moobloom ranch if you’re lucky. Moobloom Botanists from past times were also wondering how a lightning strike may effect the mob, although animal cruelty laws had not allowed anybody to attempt this. They are also very good friends with bees, and if a moobloom feels especially pollinated, they can produce flowers.
Bowl of Nectar:
- The Bowl of Nectar is an item which gives you the Lockdown effect, this effect locks an associated status effect in place, either preventing the effect from applying to you or locking the duration of the effect in place.
- The status effect it locks is dependent on the moobloom you milked.
Moobloom Flowers:
- Moobloom Flowers can be obtained from one of two methods, by feeding a Moobloom bone meal or by pollinating a Moobloom more than once in a small time window, both of these methods will create flowers.
