No Shield Delay Mod (1.21.4, 1.20.1) – Configurable Shield Raising Speed

This is due to a delay that is given to shields in the vanilla game. No Shield Delay Mod removes the delay, and even better, the mod actually lets you configure the delay. This ensures that you will no longer get unfairly hit.

(From 0 to 5. default: 0) The amount of time, in ticks, from when you right-click before the game will block attacks. Setting 0 will let you raise the shield immediately.
