Smelting in Minecraft is a very slow process. The regular furnaces take a very very long time to smelt some basic items. The game developers tried to help us by introducing a new type of furnace, called the Blast Furnace, in the 1.14 update. This new furnace could smelt items at twice the speed of the regular furnace. But this functionality is limited to only a very few items like ores, raw metals and metal armor and tools. So if you wanted to blast some netherrack into nether bricks, you would still have to rely on the slow regular furnaces. But not anymore! Blasting Netherrack into Nether Bricks Mod is here to assist you. This lightweight mod expands the functionality of the blast furnaces to allow the smelting of netherrack into nether bricks.
