Entity Detectors Mod integrates two blocks into the game that allow players to easily detect hostile and benevolent creatures alike within a specific range. These detectors provide players with a layer of security, therefore, they would be able to freely commute around their bases without having to worry about a certain creature lurking in the dark waiting to strike them. At the same time, there is also a detector that was designed to detect other players, thus preventing a complete invasion of players’ homes. Once the two detectors are set up, players will be secured from any possible invasions as they are alerted instantly. Granted, the detectors do not provide any defense capabilities, therefore, players would still need to gear up their weapons and tools to fence off adversaries that want to destroy their beloved homes. Players can also set the specific range for the two detectors.

Features:

A block that emits a redstone signal when players are within a certain range.
A block that emits a redstone signal when mobs are within a certain range.
The detection range can be set to 2, 4, 8, or 16 blocks in a spherical radius.
The mob detector can be set to detect only specific types of entities by using a slimeball to imprint the desired entity.
A filtered mob detector can be reset to detect all entities by using a regular slimeball or breaking the block.
The blocks check for entities at a default rate of once every 10 ticks, which can be adjusted in the server config.
